Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on Checkout and you will be asked to provide the details we will need to process your order. An account is not required, but if you do choose to make an account, you will be able to check the status of your order, and have a record of previous orders.

We accept cheque, postal orders, PayPal and credit/debit card payments, which are processed by a third party processor (PayPal or Nochex), so we never see your card details. If you are shopping from outside the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to either British Pounds or US Dollars: these are the two currencies in which we can accept payment, and you can choose which you pay in via the currency selector in the right-hand column on every screen of our site.

Delivery Schedule: Our target is to despatch your order by the end of the next working day after the working day on which we receive it (working day = Monday to Friday from 9 to 5, excepting bank holidays). We do not display items in our online catalogue that we do not have available to send. International orders are sent by airmail, and are usually received within a few days.

Credit Card Security: All card transactions are processed by a secure third party; we do not ever see your card details.

Our Contract: When you place an order to purchase a product from violetgreen.co.uk, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you (the "Dispatch Confirmation E-mail"). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to you.

Returns Policy: You have the right to cancel an order within seven days of purchase or within seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). Should you wish to cancel your purchase within seven days, please contact us. Providing that unwanted goods are received back to us in unused and resaleable condition within seven days of delivery, we will refund payment for the goods. Orders placed by credit or debit card from this web site will be refunded directly to your credit or debit card. Orders placed by other means will be refunded by cheque. These refunds will be made as soon as we receive the goods in appropriate condition. We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to ask for proof of purchase when you post goods back to us, so that you can make a claim should the parcel go astray. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address when returning goods. The cost of returning goods will be borne by you. In the unlikely event that you receive damaged/wrong goods, please notify within 7 days of receipt and goods will be redispatched on return of faulty items, & any postage costs incurred by you in returning the item to us will be refunded.
